Strand of Three
This is a 10 week experience for couples at crossroads aimed at making marriage work.
About the Program
Strand of Three [SOT] is a twelve weeks reconciliation experienc for Couples that are in the process of separation or separated. At Petra Families Foundatiin we believe that God is the third strand in every marriage. And because marriage is a precious gift from God we give it our best to restore the relationships in any predicament of seperation or divorce. Satan fights marriages and relationships as a whole, in the strand of three we base on straight forward Biblical principles to walk with couples in the process or after separation. There are two retreats to the program; the mid-season retreat and the end season retreat which is a one night away retreat. A movie, practical assignments and a manual will be provided during the 10 weeks experience.
This is to build a foundation or to affirm the true foundation of your relationship or marriage for the generation after you. The best legacy you can ever leave for your children is a great marriage; therefore this book gives you a head start that will stand the test of time.
You will be allocated a couple that will walk with you for life. Marriage cannot be learned on your own. This journey needs the support and guidance of other committed couples around you. This will be done using a five couples’ model to benefit more. Particular activities accompany each lesson. This model gives couples time to bond out there from their busy norm. So fortnightly, the couple mentors will take you out of the class set to an adventure for fun activities that will reinforce the principles of marriage.
The most exciting activity is graduation Camp. It involves going out to a serene campsite (bush experience) for at least two days for the ultimatum. You will go out to the siren campsite. You will go out into the “bush” for at least two days for the ultimatum. The lessons of the class will be revised and the values and principles tested. You will be stretched to the maximum with symbolic activities (that you will not forget in a hurry) will be done. The climax will be a pass out honor, with the guest of honor and your mentor couples and close friends. It is going to be your most memorable event to date!
